Registering the Inventor Migration Tool

The first step of setting up the Inventor Migration Tool is to register it as a task type in the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler.

To register the Inventor Migration Tool:

1. In the Autodesk Inventor Task Scheduler, point to Create Task and click Custom Task. The Custom Task dialog box appears.
2. Click the ... button near Task Type. The Custom Task Type dialog box appears.
3. Click New. The Task Type dialog box appears.
4. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

5. Click OK to close the Custom Task Type dialog.
6. Click OK to close the Custom Task dialog.
7. Proceed as described in Creating a source list.
